Measurement significance:

Determination principle:
Extraction of total polysaccharides using aqueous alcoholic precipitation method and determination of total polysaccharide content by phenol-sulfuric acid method.

Visible spectrophotometer, benchtop centrifuge, adjustable pipette, 1mL glass cuvette, anhydrous ethanol, concentrated sulfuric acid, distilled water, water bath.
